WorkAbilityMonitor®
The WorkAbilityMonitor® is the method for measuring workability, happiness and sustainable employability.
The WorkAbilityMonitor® is the method for measuring workability, happiness and sustainable employability.
In cooperation with the Erasmus MC, Preventned has developed the WorkAbilityMonitor®. The WorkAbilityMonitor® is a questionnaire to find out about workability and the factors that influence workability. This scientifically substantiated measuring instrument provides insight into the workability, productivity, health, employability and happiness of employees. Besides, absenteeism can be predicted and prevented.
Every organization sets out an employee satisfaction survey each year, I think that this should be a sustainable employability survey. Employee satisfaction is only a small part of this. And at the individual level, for example through the annual interviews, you should really talk to your employees about the future. Where is the organization going? Where is the employee going? And these two do not always have to follow the same path for forty years, that is an outdated idea.

With the questionnaire in the WorkAbilityMonitor® (WVM), we research the workability, the experienced working conditions, lifestyle, productivity and happiness. The WVM analyses out of more than 50 factors which ones are the most influential for the workability, productivity and happiness within your organization. Depending on the situation that your organization is in, we will decide which factors we will research together.
The questionnaire can be supplemented with the following modules, amongst others:
• Work satisfaction
• Engagement
• Leadership
• Work perception (burn-out)
• Emotional workload
• Process improvement
• Willingness to change
• Screen work
It is also possible to add your own questions to the Monitor.
The data from the WorkAbilityMonitor® can be transferred to an analytical tool. Through this, you get a clear overview of the data, you can make different selections for different departments or teams, and you can get to work with the results yourself.
To prevent absenteeism effectively and to strengthen workability, employees with a reduced workability will be invited for an additional examination. This will result in individual advice through which the employee gains insight into his development points.
And, through which the employee will be encouraged to take action to increase his own workability and happiness. The supplementary examination consists of an Individual In-depth Interview and is carried out by one of Preventned’s advisors. Preventned also trains advisors that work within the organization.
In the Human Capital Dashboard or in the organization report, the results will be displayed with a custom advice. The results are statistically substantiated and are compared to a benchmark.
The analysis of the results takes place in cooperation with the Erasmus MC. This provides drivers for a focussed employability policy.
Managers receive action-oriented steering information with which they can get to work with their team.
The results provide strong leads for conversations to get to the core of possible bottlenecks.
After completing the questionnaire, each employee receives individual feedback with pieces of advice.
In addition, the employee receives the opportunity to participate in an Individual In-depth Interview, in order to create a plan of action towards better workability.
Would you like to know how your organization is doing specifically? Or would you like to increase the work satisfaction and happiness of your employees while diminishing loss of labour productivity? We would be glad to help.
